BARBARA BLACK SHEEP

BASE

In 1971, Fisher Price rolled out its Rockin' Record Player. Complete with 5 double-sided records that stored in the back of the player, 10 songs could be played after winding up the internal spring that powered the simple machine.  Songs included included Humpty Dumpty, London Bridge, Camptown Races, The Farmer in the Dell, and every fiber artist's favorite, Baa Baa Black Sheep.

The misheard lyrics are as follows:

Barbara black sheep
Have you any wood?
Yes sir, Yes sir,
Tree backs wood.
One for my master,
One for the lame,
One for the little boy who lives down the drain.

The colors included in this mini set represent the colors of the original records.
