GEORGIA (PALISADE PEACHES)

Just in time for peach season here in Western Colorado! Sure, everyone thinks Georgia has good peaches, yet those of us on the western slope know that Palisade has THE best peaches. Palisade sits against The Grand Mesa and The Bookcliffs which fast west, absorb the sun's heat, and then radiate that heat back to the fruit.  Peaches and grapes grow well here and we look forward to eating peaches over the sink - they literally explode with juicy goodness.
