The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett
This classic novel features orphaned Mary Lennox, a mean 10 year old girl, who is sent to live with an uncle and a disabled cousin she’s never met at Misselthwaite Manor on the Yorkshire moors. There, she encounters boredom and begins to wander the abandoned grounds and discovers a ‘secret garden’. This garden becomes a catalyst for healing in the characters who see it.
The Secret Garden was originally written in parts in a magazine for adults before being published in 1911. It is banned in some areas of the world for racist language and viewpoints.

For best results, hand-knit items should be hand washed in tepid water and laid flat to dry. Superwash yarn CAN be washed in the machine on a gentle cycle (but not advised), then laid flat to dry. It is recommended to wash your skein before use. This will ensure any extra color will be rinsed out and prevent "bleeding".
