BLACK CANYON of the GUNNISON (skein)

£23.26

BASE

The Gunnison River cuts through this canyon and has some of the deepest and steepest cliffs in the country.  Sunlight has a difficult time making it's way to the bottom of the canyon, hence the name The Black Canyon.  The Painted Wall has dark gray Precambrian cliffs striped with pink bands of pegmatite which is shown here in this skein.
