T E N D E R S H O O T reminds me of the first shoots that come up in the spring - specifically the shoots of the peas. How delightful they look with a bit of snow melting nearby.
These are larger skeins and measure between 220 & 250 yards.
Hand-dyed on my Retired RHODE ISLAND RED base which will show clear definition of stitches when knit or crocheted These skeins are a bit larger - boasting at least 230 yards.
Handdyed in Western Colorado, USA
The yarn is very soft and squishy and doesn't split. It is dreamy to work with and will soon become one of your favorite yarns!
YARN BASE INFORMATION:
RHODE ISLAND RED (Worsted) 4-ply:
~~ 100% Superwash Merino
100g(4 oz) and 200yd. Gauge is 5-6 st/in
For best results, handknit items should be handwashed in tepid water and laid flat to dry. Superwash yarn CAN be washed in the machine on a gentle cycle (but not advised), then laid flat to dry.
Yarn dyeing is done at home in my back room and air-dried by God. We are a non-smoking home with a cat that roams around our back room and yard. He is afraid of the dyeing equipment and special care is taken so that he does not get onto the yarn - he's too old and arthritic to jump up on the table anyway.
Due to the nature of hand-dyed yarns being unique, the skein you receive may vary slightly from the photo shown. If you have questions about the skein, please contact me and I will answer any questions you may have.
