M R. G R E E N
Inspired by the game CLUE. CLUE (or Cluedo in Europe) board game was launched in 1972 in North America. Since our family of five was always up for board games, we would play often and in the cut-throat competitive nature of our family. Some versions of The Clue game I played in the 1970s had a Reverend Green instead of a Mr. Green. I went with the original name.
Shown on my SERAMA BAMBOO - a cooler version of my regular Serama. The bamboo resists a bit of the dye and gives the yarn a 'heathered' look - perfect for a summer shawl or sweater.
YARN BASE INFORMATION:
SERAMA BAMBOO (Fingering/Sock) 3-ply:
~~60% Superwash merino/30% Bamboo/10% nylon
For best results, hand-knit items should be hand washed in tepid water and laid flat to dry. Superwash yarn CAN be washed in the machine on a gentle cycle (but not advised), then laid flat to dry. It is recommended to wash your skein before use. This will ensure any extra color will be rinsed out and prevent "bleeding".
Yarn dyeing is done at home in my back room and air-dried by God. We are a non-smoking home with a cat that roams around our back room and yard. He is afraid of the dyeing equipment and special care is taken so that he does not get onto the yarn - he's too old and arthritic to jump up on the table anyway.
Due to the nature of hand dyed yarns being unique, the skein you receive may vary slightly from the photo shown. If you have questions about the skein, please contact me and I will answer any questions you may have.
