DEPROGRAMMED is a relatively new podcast hosted by Keri Smith, a fellow knitter. I first started following Keri when she was on her former podcast and immediately noticed how she spoke in love - something I feel is grossly missing in today's social climate. Keri's favorite color is blue, so several blues with a light denim wash over the entire skein graces this yarn. I wanted to keep the color light and airy - like Keri's laugh.
YARN BASE INFORMATION:
SERAMA BAMBOO (Fingering/Sock) 3-ply:
~~60% Superwash merino/30% Bamboo/10% nylon
For best results, hand-knit items should be hand washed in tepid water and laid flat to dry. Superwash yarn CAN be washed in the machine on a gentle cycle (but not advised), then laid flat to dry. It is recommended to wash your skein before use. This will ensure any extra color will be rinsed out and prevent "bleeding".
Yarn dyeing is done at home in my back room and air-dried by God. We are a non-smoking home with a cat that roams around our back room and yard. He is afraid of the dyeing equipment and special care is taken so that he does not get onto the yarn - he's too old and arthritic to jump up on the table anyway.
Due to the nature of hand dyed yarns being unique, the skein you receive may vary slightly from the photo shown. If you have questions about the skein, please contact me and I will answer any questions you may have.
