C O O L    B E A N S  shown on Serama Sock base.

In the 80s, COOL BEANS meant agreeable, or sounds good. I really couldn't think of what 'agreeable' or 'sounds good' looked like, so I decided to just use bean colors. Navy, garbanzo, great northern, and cannellini beans are lighter in color and are the creamy beige background for the reds of kidney beans, the black of black beans, and speckles of pinks and tans of pinto and adzuki beans. Fava beans and edamame are represented by green sprinkles throughout the skein. How much fun will this be to knit up knowing you're working with fiber and fiber colors!?

Special order available for other bases and quantities, however, only the Bantam base is sparkly.

Washing instructions:
For best results, handknit items should be handwashed in tepid water and laid flat to dry. Superwash yarn CAN be washed in the machine on a gentle cycle (but not advised), then laid flat to dry.

Yarn dyeing is done at home in my back room and air-dried by God. We are a non-smoking home with a cat that roams around our back room and yard. He is afraid of the dyeing equipment and special care is taken so that he does not get onto the yarn - he's too old and arthritic to jump up on the table anyway.

Due to the nature of hand-dyed yarns being unique, the skein you receive may vary slightly from the photo shown. If you have questions about the skein, please contact me and I will answer any questions you may have
